Hello and welcome!
I’m Michelle, and I’m glad you’re here. I am a dedicated sexuality educator and sex consultant, I support young people in navigating the sometimes turbulent waters of sexuality, including myths, heartbreak, and other challenges. Throughout my extensive experience working with young people, including several years of professional experience with adolescents on the autism spectrum, I have found that many of them are grappling with a variety of issues. Often, they become so distracted by questions surrounding sexuality, fears, or heartbreak that they can hardly concentrate on school and training. That’s why I decided in 2018 to learn more about sexuality to provide them with the support they need.
I successfully completed my training as a sexuality educator at Pro Mente Salzburg, and since then, I have had the opportunity to offer several educational workshops at “Rettet das Kind Salzburg” for the Wiba. It is a fantastic experience to bring these topics closer to young people. But as life goes, I wanted to dive even deeper and learn more about human sexual behavior. So, I decided to pursue the course to become a certified sexual counselor – and hey, I’m also currently in training to become a life and social counselor! I am always looking for ways to better help my clients.
A few fun facts about me: I was born in 1991 – yes, the year “Let’s Talk About Sex” was the song of the year. Who would have thought that decades later, I would actually be discussing sexuality as a profession? My first sexual education workshop took place in kindergarten. Inspired by an episode of “Full House,” where Michelle, my namesake, used a Barbie doll for education, I thought I would give it a try too. Spoiler alert: the parents were not thrilled! Today, I involve parents in my workshops and place great emphasis on age-appropriate education – what a development!
Oh, and a little extra: I can also conduct my counseling and workshops in Spanish – after all, I lived in Barcelona for three years and learned the language there.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. If you have any questions or need support, don’t hesitate to reach out to me. Let’s tackle the topics that are important to you together!
Warm regards,
Michelle
